Fall Classes

I can't believe that it is already time to put descriptions together for my fall classes. As my mother use to say to me, "Time is not waiting on you girl. Get going." : )

Vintage Patterns

Maybe some of my fellow sewers & fashionistas can help me with the time period of these vintage styles. The first pic is McCalls 125th Anniversary pattern #7538, second is Simplicity's 60th Anniversary pattern #9560 & then another Simplcity 60th Anniversary pattern #9360 (wow, I paid .60 cents for this one).

Here's my grandbaby, Charisma in her first Easter dress. I used a combination of two New Look patterns; 6877 & 6879.

Sneak Preview

Here is a couple of shots of the bag in progress. I'm hoping to get the battery for my digital camera by the time the bag is completed. Cell phone pics does not justice for the texture in the fabric and the leaf work.

New Projects

I have finally got around to starting (or should I say continuing)on a bag that I started months ago. I lining, closure and a border that I decided to put around the front outside of the bag has been completed. I'm trying to decide what I'm going to do about the traps. Fabric or beads? Maybe fabric & beads....mmmmmm.

Art to Wear

I'm working on a few projects one being creating awesome jackets & coats for Fall 2011. Also, I will be making a cute dress or two for my 6 month old grandbaby. Can't wait to see her chunky little thighs in a summer dress. Bless her heart. : ) So, my dear followers - plz keep visiting and by all means give me your feedback as I post. Thank you all.

Last Class

Looking forward to this Monday's class. It will be the last until....I'm pretty sure I won't be going back in the Fall. I'm looking forward to taking a little time off and then getting a couple of lines together. : ) Its been a bit of a tough semester, but God has got me through it. Now its time to celebrate Spring!
